Helicorp at Hamilton Heliport

Flying high at Helicorp

It’s been a busy year for Hamilton based charter helicopter company Helicorp who have moved into the Waikato’s first purpose-built commercial heliport, and have recently appointed a new Marketing Manager.

The new Heliport is situated adjacent to Hamilton Airport terminal and provides aircraft hangars, a client lounge, headquarters for Helicorp, and a training room for partner company Helitrain who provide helicopter pilot training.

Helicorp owner Brent Glover says: “The growth of our corporate charter business meant it was time have a purpose-built aviation facility. It’s an exciting start to a phased development which will attract corporate business and allows us to promote Hamilton as an alternative aircraft base for private operators.”

Glover says he’s delighted to have Vicki Annison join them in a new marketing role, “We have a very strong and capable team on board. They are all completely dedicated to what they do and I look forward Helicorp moving forward into its next phase.”

Having worked in marketing and communications roles in the UK and New Zealand, Vicki brings a huge amount of experience to Helicorp. Most recently she has worked on communications for NZ Transport Agency, and  communications / media for Fieldays and Mystery Creek Events Centre.

Vicki says she is excited to be part of the dynamic team at Helicorp, “The experience and passion the guys have about flying helicopters is evident in all they do and I’m looking forward to working alongside them and showcasing what makes Helicorp so special.”

Vicki is already busy  redeveloping the Helicorp website, working with clients looking for venue hire at the new Heliport, and speaking with other unique venues and activity providers in the region to build a VIP range of itinerary options for helicopter charter flights.
